Elixir Technology and Netezza provide business analytics solutions

Companies enter partnership to enable non-technical end users to construct business analytics models on their own.

Elixir Technology, a Singapore-based provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, and Netezza Corporation, the global leader in data warehouse, analytic and monitoring appliances, has announced that the companies have entered into a new technology partner agreement. As a result of this agreement, Elixir Technology and Netezza plan to offer solutions that enable business executives and other non-technical professionals to quickly analyze enormous, complex sets of data and generate actionable findings in near-real time, according to an Elixir Technology report.

The new relationship also expands both companies' global reach. Elixir Technology opened its first North American office in Irvine, California in April 2010.

"For analytics, speed and scalability can provide enormous business value," said Mr. Lau Shih Hor, CEO of Elixir Technology. "It is critical for businesses to react quickly to changes in the market to remain competitive and grow. Elixir Business Intelligence solutions are designed to provide our customers with such speed and agility to succeed."

"Vast and growing amounts of stored data offers organizations with an unprecedented opportunity in terms of analysis and business intelligence," said Doug Etzel, vice president, Asia Pacific for Netezza. "This agreement helps both Netezza and Elixir meet the growing need to extend what was limited access to business intelligence analytics and data, to now thousands of users, partners and customers."

Elixir Technology's Business Intelligence series of products provides senior business executives, business analysts and technical developers with a highly affordable on-demand BI solution that includes a powerful, easy-to-use Information Dashboard, Enterprise Reporting, fully integrated Data ETL, and Job Scheduling features, as well as Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis for the end users. Elixir enables customers to quickly build customized analytics dashboards and reports using an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface, while Netezza's industry-leading enterprise data warehouse analytics solution provides industry-leading performance and data compression that result in a highly efficient use of storage resources.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
