Income Insurance names Khoo Kah Siang as CEO

He brings more than 30 years in financial services and succeeds Andrew Yeo.

Income Insurance has appointed Khoo Kah Siang as its new CEO, effective 23 January 2027, subject to regulatory approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

He will succeed Andrew Yeo, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities after serving at the company since 2015 and being appointed CEO in 2019.

Khoo most recently served as CEO Emerging Markets, at Manulife Asia, where he oversaw a portfolio covering Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

He focused on driving sustainable growth across these markets to create diversity for the enterprise.

He has over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, including actuarial, regulatory, finance, and profit-and-loss leadership roles.

Khoo has also held senior roles across the insurance industry and public sector, including at Great Eastern and MAS.

He holds a PhD in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kent.

Lim Sim Seng, Chairman of the Board of Income Insurance, said Khoo’s experience in the insurance sector and track record of leading businesses through change position him well to guide Income Insurance into its next phase of growth.

“The Board looks forward to working closely with Kah Siang as we strengthen our capabilities, deepen our commitment to customers and build a more resilient and sustainable organisation,” Lim said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
