Lion Global Investors is launching the LionGlobal Singapore Physical Gold Fund, described as Singapore’s first insured physical gold fund with LBMA Good Delivery gold stored in Singapore.

The fund aims to track the LBMA Gold Price AM as closely as possible.

Standard Chartered Bank Singapore will serve as custodian, trustee, administrator, transfer agent, and gold provider. Distribution partners include OCBC, MariBank Singapore, Great Eastern, the Singlife Group, iFAST, GROW with Singlife, and dollarDEX.

Access will roll out in phases. OCBC and iFAST will offer the fund from 1 December. GROW with Singlife is running an initial subscription window from 18 to 28 November.

dollarDEX is set to onboard the product in December, whilst MariBank will add it through its app at a later date, with investments starting from $1. Great Eastern plans to make the fund available in 2026, including through ILP platforms.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
