Of these, 3,000 embarked on new transformative projects with the agency.

In 2023, EnterpriseSG helped some 18,000 companies from various sectors and of these, 3,00 embarked on new transformative projects with the agency.

The projects, according to EnterpriseSG, will boost the participating companies’ annual revenues by $16.4b and create 21,500 skilled jobs.

EnterpriseSG is helping companies boost their projected annual revenues by $16.4b through internationalisation ($5.2b), innovation ($1.0b) and improving cost competitiveness ($10.2b).

In 2023, EnterpriseSG also worked with 15,000 companies on basic capability-building and market exploration projects.

Most (85%) of these companies adopted digital solutions such as inventory and accounting, sales, warehousing and HR management systems, and enhanced operational efficiency through automation.

Meanwhile, the rest looked into activities to explore new market opportunities, including participating in overseas trade fairs.

For 2024, EnterpriseSG aims to aid companies in developing new and cost-competitive products, bolster ties with local SMEs, and drive sector development by collaborating with partners as multipliers.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
