Beng Kuang's ASOM secures $7.4m Angola works order

The works comprises the supply and mobilisation of offshore personnel for tank works.

Beng Kuang Marine Limited’s subsidiary, Asian Sealand Offshore and Marine Pte. Ltd. (ASOM) has secured a $7.4m (US$5.84m) purchase order for works on a floating production storage and offloading vessel in Angola.

The works comprises the supply and mobilisation of offshore personnel for tank works during the campaign, scheduled for completion by 31 December 2026.

It covers supervision, rigging, scaffolding, fitting, welding, tank repairs, and rope access, Beng Kuang said.

This is a repeat engagement from an existing customer and is ASOM’s third project in the Angola offshore basin for the current fiscal year, Beng Kuang said in a bourse filing.

“With one quarter left in FY2026, one of our key tasks is execution — converting the order book we have secured into revenue and cash,” said Yong Jiunn Run, chief executive officer of Beng Kuang.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
