Nanofilm's revenue grows at a faster pace of 27% YoY in 1Q2022

The faster growth was attributed to growth in all its business units.

SGX-listed Nanofilm Technologies International's revenue grew at a faster pace of 27% YoY in 1Q22 amidst growth in all its business units.

The major contributor to its revenue was its Advanced Materials Business Unit (ABMU), constituting 81%.

Breaking down into segments, 3C had the biggest contribution at 36%, mainly driven by the communications and wearables, and accessories sub-segments.

ABMU was followed by the Industrial Equipment Business Unit in terms of revenue contribution at 14%. This unit was led by equipment sales projects.

Meanwhile, Nanofilm's Nanofabrication Business Unit (NFBU) only contributed 6% of revenue during the first quarter, led by mass production projects.

Looking ahead, Nanofilm said it remains positive and confident for the rest of the year amidst possible macro o challenges.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
