Game of Crowns

A Game of strategy based on the Prisoner’s Dilemma.
The outcome depends on the decision of each team. The ability to understand and anticipate what others will decide is therefore essential.

A Game of Strategy for  Strategic Thinking

The prisoner's dilemma is a game theory thought experiment that involves two rational agents, each of whom can cooperate for mutual benefit or compete  for individual reward.

The prisoner's dilemma models many real-world situations involving strategic behavior. In casual usage, the label “prisoner's dilemma” may be applied to any situation in which two entities could gain important benefits from cooperating or suffer from failing to do so, but find it difficult or expensive to coordinate their activities.

  • And indeed, during several rounds of decision making the teams must engage either to
    • Trade (cooperate) or
    • Go to war (compete)
  • The Winning Team is the one achieving the Highest Prosperity for its city.

A very stimulating activity that requires fast thinking and scenario analysis. The impact of each team decision depends on what others do. Hence, analytical skills, psychology and decision making are key to succeed.
