CMAS Apprenticeship programme is designed for Secondary School and Junior College students who are keen on acquiring hands-on experience in arts project management through bringing a classical chamber music project from idea to reality with the CMAS Executive team. This Apprenticeship programme usually spans a period of 3 months each year.
Aims
- To create an opportunity for secondary school and JC students to bring about the fruition of a specially-designed themed classical chamber music
project with a trained team - To empower students to actively contribute to the building of a project which includes the presentation of formal Evening Concerts, interactive Concerts for Children ages 0-12, bespoke private music-art experiences for children living within challenging circumstances, and other artistic and musical engagement activities within the communities and schools
- To provide organic opportunities for students to interact and work alongside internationally recognised musicians in a professional setting
- To expose students to close interaction with a full-spectrum of beneficiary children and youths as well as communities, including children and youths from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, children and youths with special needs and at-risk children and youths, as the apprentices plan and execute the project
