Clinical Associate / Resident Physician, Haematology-Oncology
The Department of Haematology-Oncology is seeking Clinical Associate / Resident Physician candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment on a contractual basis.
As a Clinical Associate / Resident Physician, you will be part of the care team led by Senior Consultants / Consultants in the day-to-day running of the haematology and oncology inpatient wards at the National University Hospital, Singapore (NUH). You will be required to provide coverage for weekends/public holidays as per departmental roster. Involvement in research projects and education of juniors is actively encouraged. You shall demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen and perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Palliative Medicine Consultant
As a Palliative Medicine Consultant, you are expected to function as senior clinician within the multi-disciplinary palliative care team. Duties include (but are not restricted to): participating in joint ward rounds with the Oncology teams (when appropriate); attending to requests for consults from other disciplines; follow-up and management of patients on a “shared care” basis with the referring disciplines; and assisting other disciplines to develop capacity to provide basic Palliative care to their patients. You will also be expected to run outpatient clinics.
As part of an academic medical centre, you will be expected to contribute to clinical care, education and research, and to embody the NUHS TRICEP values – Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence and Person-Centred Care. Resident Physician
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team led by a Palliative Care Consultant / Senior Consultant in the day-to-day running of the inpatient Palliative consultative service. Additionally, you may occasionally be required to see patients in the clinic (under supervision). You will be required to provide coverage for week-ends/public holidays as per departmental roster and take on additional duties and responsibilities such as basic teaching/supervision of healthcare students, clinical audits and quality improvement projects. You shall demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen and perform any other duties as directed by Head of Department or the Chairman Medical Board of the Hospital.
Depending on aptitude, interest and eligibility, the doctor may choose to pursue further training either the GDPM (Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine) or AST (Advanced Specialty Training) in Palliative Medicine. Doctors who have completed GDPM and who wish to practice Palliative Medicine, including on part-time basis, are welcome to apply.

Clinical Research Coordinator / Coordinator (Haematology-Oncology Research Group)
A HORG Clinical Research Coordinator plays a critical role in the conduct of cancer-related clinical trials at NCIS, with a satellite site at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. He/she will assist the Principal Investigator in all manner of clinical trial activities, from recruitment, screening and coordination of trial-related procedures, and contribute to maintaining the high-quality, world-class clinical research that defines NCIS. Patient Service Associate
The candidate would need to handle internal emails – which includes (but not limited to) seeing through the opening and closing of clinics based on doctors’ request, to ensure new doctors and clinics are opened punctually, and to ensure patients are informed of scheduled appointments. He/she would also need to handle external emails – which includes replying promptly to enquiries with relevant information within 1 working day, booking of appointments in EPIC, handling of calls routed from Group Contact Centre and other ad-hoc duties assigned by team.

Senior / Staff Nurse, Cancer Centre
Job duties include assessing and addressing patients’ needs on admission and daily throughout their hospital stay, working with a multi-disciplinary treatment team involved in the care of the patient, participating in physicians’ rounds. The staff would have to support new initiates/lead changes and demonstrate competency in all core competencies and unit specific programmes implemented by the Nursing Administration team.
