Scoot, the low-cost carrier of Singapore Airlines (SIA), will increase flight frequencies and passenger capacity in the coming months to meet rising travel demand.

Starting 6 June, flights to Iloilo City will increase from two to four times weekly, whilst services to Cebu will rise from seven to 10 times weekly from 24 June. From 30 August, flights to Davao will increase to 12 times weekly, up from nine.

Flights to Perth will increase from 12 to 14 times weekly beginning 4 August, whilst services to Sydney will rise from 10 to 14 times weekly starting 5 October.

Scoot will also boost its flights to Koh Samui from 21 to 25 times weekly from 24 June. From 2 August, services to Taipei and Seoul (via Taipei) will increase from five times weekly to daily.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
