A-Sonic Aerospace acquires 60% stake in 3DC Solutions for $15.2m

The transaction is part of a larger deal to expand its presence.

A-Sonic Aerospace, through its wholly owned subsidiary A-Sonic Logistics, has agreed to acquire a 60% stake in logistics firm 3DC Solutions for $15.2m, a move the company said will strengthen its position in Singapore and ASEAN.

The deal comprises a $6m subscription for new shares and the acquisition of existing shares worth $9.2m from 3DC Solutions' three shareholders.

According to the company, the acquisition is expected to strengthen its logistics platform across ASEAN, where 3DC Solutions operates through an integrated network spanning six countries.

The group said the deal is expected to increase its revenue by 27.8% to $375.54m (US$292.68m) and lift earnings per share by 35.9%, supported by higher margins, operational synergies and cost savings from integrating overlapping operations and back-office functions.

The transaction is subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting and is expected to complete on 1 October.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
