Alpha Integrated REIT CEO Karen Lee exits as CFO steps up

Goo Li Ling will assume the role after MAS’ approval is secured.

Alpha Integrated REIT Management Pte Ltd., manager of AI REIT, has appointed Goo Li Ling as its CEO designate effective 2 November.

Karen Lee Kiah Ling stepped down from her role as CEO of AI REIT the same day to pursue other professional interests, AI REIT said in an SGX filing.

Lee will remain employed by AI REIT until 31 March 2027 and will be available to assist the board and Goo.

Goo is the current chief financial officer of AI REIT. She will assume the role of CEO following the receipt of approval of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the appointment. During this time, the board said it will “exercise closer oversight of the management” of AI REIT Management.

Goo will continue with her responsibilities as CFO while awaiting approval from MAS, AI REIT said.

Goo has over 20 years of experience working in finance, real estate investment and fund management, according to AI REIT. She previously held senior leadership positions at Keppel Fund Management and Lendlease Asia Holdings.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
