Sabana Reit sets requisitioned EGM on or before 25 May

Part of the agenda is the consideration of proposed resolutions stated in a notice on March 26.

Sabana Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit) is set to hold the requisitioned extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on or before 25 May.

In a regulatory filing on 15 April, the manager of Sabana Reit said to be discussed during the EGM are proposed resolutions listed in a notice posted on 26 March. The requisitioners want these to be tabled at the annual general meeting (AGM) on 23 April, or the EGM to be held right after the said event at the same venue.

The manager said due to the close time frame between the receipt of the requisition notice and the date for the AGM, it is unable to approve the request since preparations have to be done for the requisitioned EGM following regulatory and legal requirements.

Notice on the details about the requisitioned EGM and other information related to the resolutions will be issued to unitholders “in due course in accordance with the relevant notice period required under the Trust Deed,” the manager said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
