CapitaLand’s Ascott to give away NFTs to celebrate online platform launch

Eleven non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be given given during the launch campaign of Ascott’s discoverasr.com platform.

The Ascott Limited, a wholly-owned lodging business unit of CapitaLand, recently launched its discoverasr.com platform.

The website would provide guests one-stop access to Ascott’s more than 400 serviced apartments, co-living spaces, and hotels, across more than 130 cities in over 30 countries.

In line with this launch, Ascott will issue 11 NFTs, cryptographic assets on blockchain that provide proof of ownership, and scarcity for digital content, as a part of its "The Traveller’s Discovery" campaign.

The NFTs feature one-of-a-kind artworks of Ascott’s Cubby mascot in different destinations.

Ascott Star Rewards members can accumulate their chances to win the NFTs by participating in a series of 14 virtual mini-games, where they can also earn up to 1,400 ASR points.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
