The framework aims to implement at 100 initiatives and team up with 15 Island Partners.

SDC and NTUC LHUB signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up One Sentosa Transformation and Equipping Platform (1-STEP), a learning learning framework aimed at accelerating the transformation of Sentosa as a tourism destination.

The training programmes are seen addressing common challenges faced by businesses in the island, including problems in customer service, sustainability, data and AI.

They also target about 2,000 participants for its Sentosa Learning Festivals, and engage engage with at least 15 partners Island Partners and retain two tourism-related certifications.

The inaugural Sentosa Learning Festival from 24 June to 5 July already had nearly 1000 workers signed up in educational and training programmes, which includes masterclasses and tours.

The MoU was supported by Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) whose workforce makes up 70% of the Sentosa labourforce.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
