ST Engineering partners with Envision Digital to build net zero carbon solution

They will build a cloud-based, Integrated Net Zero Carbon Digital Building Suite for Singapore’s Green Plan 2030.

ST Engineering and Envision Digital International signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly build an end-to-end net zero carbon urban infrastructure solution for the public and commercial sectors, 30 June.

For six months, the two firms will work together to build a cloud-based, Integrated Net Zero Carbon Digital Suite, which will connect and facilitate real-time data flows across ST Engineering’s smart digital building solutions.

They will combine their strengths in digitalization, Artificial Intelligence of Things technology, and smart urban solutions.

They aim to provide a solution to the disruption in the workforce brought about by the Covid-19.

Michael Ding, executive director of Envision Group said, ““With ambitious targets to increase renewables through its Green Plan 2030, Singapore has been forward-thinking in its approach toward its energy transition.”

“This, coupled with local stakeholders’ desire to continuously co-create and experiment with innovative concepts, scenarios, technologies, and business models in actual living environments, bodes well for us and underscores the city-state’s rich potential to become an international leader in exporting sustainability software solutions,” Ding added.

Meanwhile, ST Engineering President/Head of Urban Solutions Chew Men Leong, sad: “Our collaboration with Envision Digital will augment our smart digital building offerings with intelligent energy and carbon emission tracking and optimisation technologies, providing our customers with actionable insights to help them achieve their sustainability targets.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
