AIA Singapore posts 14% VONB growth in FY2025

Annualised New Premium (ANP) rose 23% to $1.4b (US$1.128b).

AIA Singapore reported a 14% increase in Value of New Business (VONB) for FY2025, driven by growth across both its agency and partnership channels.

The company has also seen strong growth in the affluent and high-net-worth segment, contributing to a 31% rise in partnership VONB.

Annualised New Premium (ANP) rose 23% to $1.4b (US$1.128b), whilst the VONB margin edged down to 47%, reflecting a shift toward unit-linked long-term savings products as the company targets the wealth segment.

Total Weighted Premium Income (TWPI) grew 16%, supported by overall business growth.

Operating profit after tax for FY2025 increased 5% to $925m (US$721m).

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
