Amy Leong appointed as AEM Holding’s CEO

She will take on the role effective 1 July.

Amy Leong has been named as the new chief executive officer of AEM Holdings Ltd, effective 1 July.

She will succeed Chandran Nair, who resigns from his position on 30 June.

With extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, Leong brings over 25 years of expertise in test and measurement, having held prominent positions including senior vice president and chief commercial officer at FormFactor, Inc. She also holds a master’s degree in material science from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

AEM looks forward to leveraging Leong's expertise to drive growth and innovation in the semiconductor industry.

“We have been impressed with Amy’s track record of success in our industry and broad commercial network in the United States, Europe, Taiwan, and North Asia,” Loke Wai San, non-executive chairman said. “We have every confidence that Amy, Samer [Kabbani], and TM [Chua Tat Ming] will work together as our leadership team to drive the adoption of our innovative Test 2.0 solutions across the industry.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
