Tech funding rebounds to $3.7b in October

Kling AI led the month with a $2.98b funding round.

Singapore tech companies raised $3.7b in equity funding in October 2026, rebounding from a 12-month low of $175m in September, according to Tracxn.

The figure was also significantly higher than the $346m raised in October 2025.

Funding activity remained uneven over the 12-month period, with only three months recording more than $1b in equity funding.

Tech funding stood at $284m in November 2025 before falling to $191m in December.

It then surged to $2.2b in January 2026, before declining to $388m in February, $359m in March, and $134m in April.

Funding recovered to $831m in May and climbed further to $4.63b in July, the highest monthly total during the period. It subsequently fell to $864m in August.

Kling AI led October's largest funding rounds with $2.98b, followed by Manus with $500m, Supabase with $150m, Orochi Network with $8m, and NEU Battery Materials with $7.6m.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
