Keppel DC REIT subsidiary acquires $100m green loan facility

The loan is guaranteed by Perpetual (Asia) Limited.

Keppel DC REIT subsidiary Keppel DC REIT, Keppel DC REIT Fin. Company Pte. Ltd. has acquired a green loan facility worth $100m.

Under the terms and conditions of the Facility Agreement, a Mandatory Prepayment Event will be triggered where the borrower will be required to pay all outstanding loans together with accrued interest and all other moneys owing under or pursuant to the Green Loan Facility within 10 business days in the event that the Manager ceases to be a subsidiary (whether directly or indirectly) of Keppel Ltd.

Assuming the occurrence of the Mandatory Prepayment Event, and  that such occurrence would cause a cross default under other borrowings of the Keppel DC REIT group, the aggregate level of utilised and unutilised facilities that may be affected is, as at the date of this announcement, approximately $2.65b.

The green loan facility was guaranteed by Perpetual (Asia) Limited.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
