SBS Transit takes GuocoLand’s spot in SGX's iEdge Next 50

The changes will take effect on 28 September 2026.

SBS Transit will join the iEdge Singapore Next 50 Indices, replacing GuocoLand, according to SGX Indices’ September quarterly review.

The changes will take effect when trading begins on 28 September 2026.

The iEdge Singapore Next 50 indices cover companies with a combined market capitalisation of more than $107b and focus on the next cohort of 50 companies after Singapore’s 30 largest companies by market capitalisation.

The indices use free-float, market capitalisation, and liquidity criteria to identify companies that are both sizeable and tradable.

They are available in two variants: one weighted by market capitalisation and another weighted by liquidity.

The indices complement existing benchmarks and are intended to increase the visibility of and participation in this group of companies.

The September review follows the 3 September 2026 listing of the CGS Fullgoal Singapore Next 50 Active ETF, which is benchmarked to the index series.

The next quarterly review is scheduled for December 2026.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
