Timah Partners secures $60m debt facility for SME acquisitions

UOB, RHB, and Genesis back the delayed-drawdown facility for Singapore deals.

Holding company Timah Partners has secured a $60m umbrella debt facility to fund multiple acquisitions of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore.

The group said the facility is backed by UOB, RHB Bank, and Genesis Alternative Ventures, with Kroll Agency and Trustee Services acting as facility and security agent.

The facility is structured as a delayed-drawdown arrangement, providing a pre-negotiated framework that allows Timah to finance and execute multiple SME acquisitions over time.

“This umbrella facility lets us run a consistent, high-certainty, and smooth acquisition process with excellent partners, and move swiftly when it matters,” Dennis Chua, founder and CEO of Timah Partners, said.

The company focuses on acquiring businesses where founders are seeking succession options, particularly resilient, cash-generating SMEs, including asset-light companies.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
