Acrophyte Hospitality Trust strategic review continues amidst sponsor talks

Any deal remains uncertain, and future updates hinge on SGX disclosure rules.

Acrophyte Hospitality Trust announced that its strategic review remains ongoing as discussions continue with its sponsor over a potential transaction involving its stapled securities.

In a bourse filing, the trust's managers said there was no certainty that the discussions with the sponsor would result in a transaction.

The managers added that further announcements would be made in accordance with the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited’s Listing Manual if any material developments arise that require disclosure.

The group advised holders of the stapled securities to exercise caution when trading and to avoid taking any action that could adversely affect their interests.

Securityholders considering a transaction were advised to consult professional advisers if they were uncertain about how to proceed.

The latest update follows a series of updates since May 2025, when the strategic review was first announced.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
