Singapore Kitchen Equipment seeks extension for trading resumption proposal

It cited ongoing legal proceedings involving an executive and a manager.

Singapore Kitchen Equipment (SKE) has applied to the Singapore Exchange for a 12-month extension, to 3 October 2027, to submit its trading resumption proposal, citing ongoing court proceedings against two of its officers.

The current deadline is 3 October, after SKE earlier withdrew its proposal and secured a 12-month extension in October 2025.

The proceedings involve executive director and CEO Sally Chua Chwee Choo and senior manager Charlene Koh Sai Eng, who are being prosecuted following a Commercial Affairs Department investigation.

The board said the case is expected to progress substantially into 2027 and may conclude before mid-2027, subject to the court schedule.

SKE said it cannot say with certainty when the proceedings will end.

The company filed the application through its sponsor, RHT Capital, on 29 September.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
