OCR takes 50.8% of condo resales as prices fall in July

CCR recorded the fewest transactions but led monthly and yearly price increases.

The Outside Central Region (OCR) dominated the condo resale market, accounting for 50.8% of transactions, or 496 units, in July, according to 99.co and SRX.

The Rest of Central Region (RCR) followed at 31.6%, or 309 units, whilst the Core Central Region (CCR) accounted for 17.6%, or 172 units.

Only the CCR recorded a monthly price increase, rising 2.6%, whilst RCR and OCR prices decreased by 1.1% and 0.9%, respectively.

“Year-on-year prices in the CCR, RCR, and OCR also rose by 6.2%, 2.8%, and 2.6%, respectively,” the report said.

The highest resale price in the month was $14.3m for a unit at Leedon Residence in the CCR.

The View @ Meyer recorded the highest resale price in the RCR at $10m, whilst St Patrick's Residences recorded the highest in the OCR at $4.1m.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
