Zalora to launch E-Commerce Booster Package for SMEs

Interested retailers can apply for the package until 16 November.

Fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform Zalora said it will launch its E-Commerce Booster Package in partnership with Enterprise Singapore that will help small and medium enterprises and other sellers to diversify and boost their online operations.

The E-Commerce Booster Package, which was first introduced last year at the start of the pandemic, is being re-introduced due to sustained and robust demand of the e-commerce industry, Zalora said in a media release, 9 July.

The package which will help sellers transition online include services at subsidised rates such as access to Zalora’s TRENDER Professional dashboard for six months, a self-service intelligence toll where brands can use benchmark data and compare their performance with over 3,000 local and global brands.

Businesses can also use Zalora’s “fulfiled solutions,” integrate with last-mile logistic providers and store their products at the firm’s fulfilment centres. Zalora also committed to providing free shipping for the first 1,000 items sold through Zalora’s campaign.

They will also receive S$6,000 worth of sponsored advertisement credits and marketing campaigns on Instagram and Facebook and marketing advertisement exposure. The firm will also offer optional content development and online training sessions with sellers.

Qualifying retailers have to pay S$2,000 to avail of the services, which were originally offered S$10,000 a bundle, it said.

“As digital adoption rates continue to grow rapidly, we hope that retailers will be able to leverage our in-depth knowledge and expertise to effectively pivot their offerings online, and future-proof their operations for the post-pandemic world and beyond. This will also benefit the end consumer, and higher sales will further boost the investments for better offering, generating a flywheel model,” Zalora Chief Revenue Officer Alessio Romeni said, adding that they have always been committed to supporting the e-commerce industry in Southeast Asia.

Interested parties have until 16 November to apply for the package.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
