Singapore captures 60% of SEA logistics tech funding

SEA has raised $433.92m in 2026 YTD, the highest level in five years.

Singapore is leading funding in Southeast Asia's (SEA) logistics tech market, with $14.59b (US$11.4b) received to date, according to data intelligence platform Tracxn.

In its Logistics Tech - SEA Report, Tracxn said that Singapore accounted for nearly 60% of the funding in the region. Top funding rounds in the last two years were also made in Singapore, led by Zelostech through its Series B and Series C rounds.

Of the two SEA companies that reached unicorn status, one is Singapore-based Ninja Van, a technology-enabled logistics and last-mile delivery company that crossed the $1.28b (US$1b) valuation mark in September 2021.

Singapore was followed by Jakarta with $6.91b (US$5.4b), then Bangkok with $994.56m (US$777m). Other cities account for less than $64m (US$50m) in funding, underlining the concentrated capital deployment around two gateway hubs.

Overall, SEA's logistics tech raised $22.66b (US$17.7b) in all-time equity funding, with annual funding moderating from $1.41b (US$1.1b) in 2021 to $107.52m (US$84m) in 2023, before recovering to $340.48m (US$266m) in 2024, $335.36m (US$262m) in 2025 and $433.92m (US$339m) in 2026 year-to-date (YTD), the highest funding level since 2021. Of the 229 funded companies, 138 have raised equity funding.

"The recent recovery has been supported by several large rounds, with Zelostech accounting for three of the five largest rounds since 2025," Tracxn said.

The company said e-commerce logistics has attracted $640m (US$500m) in funding since 2025, including $384m (US$300m) in 2026 YTD, making it the most funded business model during the period, with Zelostech accounting for a significant share.

"Freight Transportation Management followed next with $64m raised since 2025, including $12m in 2026 YTD, led by rounds raised by Neptune Robotics, McEasy and MagicPort," Tracxn said.

Logistics tech in the region has recorded 17 acquisitions compared with 8 IPOs, with companies taking an average of 12.9 years from first funding to acquisition, compared with 7.7 years for IPOs. The sector has recorded no acquisitions or IPOs in 2026 YTD.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
