TOUCH, CapitaLand open workplace wellness centre in CBD

The facility features greenery, natural light, and earthy finishes.

TOUCH Community Services and CapitaLand have opened Singapore's first integrated workplace wellness centre in the Central Business District (CBD), offering counselling, physiotherapy, and other wellness services for working adults.

Located on Level 9 of Capital Tower, the 710-square-metre facility brings TOUCH's services into the workplace as demand grows for easier access to support outside traditional healthcare settings.

“The goal is to make seeking support feel less intimidating and more natural,” Stella Teo, head of TOUCHpoints at TOUCH, told Singapore Business Review. “Visitors should feel that they are entering a community wellness space, not a clinic.”

The centre offers counselling, mindfulness sessions, physiotherapy, musculoskeletal pain management, art therapy, and group workshops.

TOUCHpoint@Capital Tower also uses artificial intelligence-enabled health screening and body position detection technology to support assessments and wellness programmes.

The facility was designed by TOV Architects & Atelier. The interior uses biophilic design features such as greenery, natural light, and earthly finishes.

“The brief was to create a space that feels welcoming, calming and inclusive, where working adults and their families would feel comfortable seeking support,” Teo said in an emailed reply to questions.

The layout moves from shared programme areas to private rooms for counselling and physiotherapy, letting visitors access services based on their needs.

TOUCH said the centre extends its community care model into the workplace, with services covering mental, physical, and digital well-being.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
