Suitable for kids aged 6 years above, Sew Into It is a series of workshops where kids can explore their creativity on projects such as dressmaking and bag making
When: Various dates in March and throughut 2016, 2 hour sessions
Where: Sew Into It, 333 Kreta Ayer Road, #02-32
Price: $50 per child (inclusive of all materials)
Why go? The perfect place to let their creativity shine in an environment that is free from technology! Well, apart from the sewing machine that is!
If you are fed up of seeing your child stuck like glue to a handheld device every weekend, perhaps it is time to introduce them to something a little more creative.
These sewing workshops help to build confidence and resilience while teaching them a traditional activity that does not need screen protection!
The workshops are suitable from 6 years and above, where kids can make animal soft toys, funky backpacks, cool pencil cases and even water bottle holders. There is also a more advanced Kids Love Sewing session for ages 9 years and above to work on projects such as blouses and shorts or skirts.
The sewing workshops for kids are running throughout March, including an Animal Softies workshop on 16th March at 2pm. Pre-registration is required.
Workshops will take place during 2016 also. Log on to Sew Into It for more information and to book a workshop.
