Infancy is a precious time to watch your baby grow and it won’t be long before this being can run away from you. Make small moments count by setting aside time to read to your baby. Reading aloud to your baby is an important way to bond with your baby. It’s also stimulating for them.
Reading to your baby can:
• Give baby information
• Introduce them to language and numeric concepts
• Build on their listening and language skills
• Teach babies about communication
It’s great to start reading to your child in his or her infancy. This way, you can instill the habit of reading that will benefit them in many ways in time to come.
