Let’s start this with a story: the day started with a look of pure disbelief from my child when I announced we’d be putting down our screens for the day and getting a “good workout in.”
He was convinced I was talking about jogging. If you know me, you know that our previous attempts at jogging usually end up with us lounging at the nearest McDonald’s along the route, catching our breath (and some fries). So when I said we’d be getting a workout, he was definitely expecting the worst.
But instead of hitting the pavement, we hit the inflatables at Splashtopia, and let me tell you, that’s the kind of workout I’ll take any day!
Kiztopia’s Splashtopia 2025 at Palawan Green, Sentosa, surpassed all expectations, offering an unforgettable pirate-themed water adventure. From thrilling inflatables to exciting slides, this water wonderland, which spans over 50,000 square feet, truly delivers on its promise of waves of fun for all ages.
Highlights
One of the highlights of the event was the exhilarating Mark’s Dual Racer – a thrilling duo race that had me and my child competing to reach the treasure first, while zooming down side-by-side in a rush of speed and excitement. Another favourite was Dr. Octo’s Dungeon, where we made a daring escape from the massive purple octopus. It was an adventure that kept us on our toes, trying to avoid his tentacles and navigate through the fun obstacles.
The Tiger’s Mast challenge was a true test of balance as we climbed to the top and attempted to conquer the slope, and Bell’s Deck offered a refreshing aquatic experience with slides, racing runners, and plenty of splashing fun. It was the perfect way to get in a workout and have a blast with my little pirate.
No Party is a Party without a Dress-Up Competition Fun!
For those who love a bit of competition, Splashtopia is also hosting a ‘Most Fearsome Pirate’ Best Dressed contest! Visitors can vie for the coveted title and win attractive prizes, including the Top Prize: a Siloso Beach Resort Deluxe Connection Room for 4 pax (worth S$791.34) and the Runner-Up Prize: a Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium Dining Experience at Atrium Restaurant for 2 pax (worth S$130++). It was the ideal way to recharge before heading back for more pirate-themed thrills.
