A Learning Route for Every Kind of Musician

The academy offers three distinct routes to match every personality, pace, and passion:

1. Examination Route

Perfect for learners who enjoy setting goals and working toward milestones. This route follows

recognised syllabuses such as ABRSM and Rockschool, and prepares students for graded music exams, Direct School Admission (DSA), and qualifications that come with Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) point allocations.

Best for: Learners aiming for graded exams or formal music credentials.

2. Personal Development Route

All about play, creativity, and self-expression. Students learn songs they love (yes, that new Tay-Tay hit counts), try different instruments, and build musical confidence without exam pressure.

Best for: Beginners or casual learners who want music to stay fun and flexible.

3. Higher Learning Route

This one’s for the future rockstars, composers, or conservatory hopefuls. It offers advanced mentoring, audition prep, and performance portfolio development. Many students in this track apply to institutions like LaSalle College of the Arts or Berklee College of Music.

Best for: Committed learners preparing for music school or professional opportunities.

Beyond the Classroom: Music That Travels and Connects

At Vibratone, the learning extends far beyond weekly lessons. Students have the chance to take their music global, literally. From overseas workshops to artist-led masterclasses, students have collaborated with international institutions like ESP College of Music Tokyo. It adds another exciting chapter to their music journey—one filled with culture, creativity, and connection.

And closer to home, students are encouraged to give back through music-led community projects and fundraisers. Because music should inspire and uplift—not just entertain. One of Vibratone’s latest community outreach efforts includes a meaningful collaboration with

NTUC Health Active Ageing. Every school holiday, the academy sends students to teach elderly participants how to play musical instruments in small groups. It’s a thoughtful initiative that bridges generations—each student is paired with 3–5 seniors, guided by a main instructor. This format ensures more personalised guidance for the elderly and gives Vibratone students an opportunity to share their knowledge while building empathy and leadership skills.
