ChildFirst Pre-School – Best Trilingual Pre-School 2026

In Singapore, bilingualism is simply a part of growing up. From singing nursery rhymes in English to being treated to yet another adventure during story time in Mandarin, children are surrounded by languages from an early age.

But what if your child could grow up fluent in a third language, too? And no, we’re not talking about French or Japanese. Rather, it’s the language that’s shaping our future, even as we speak: coding.

Future-proof the Next Generation

At ChildFirst Pre-school, little learners are immersed in an environment where language, creativity and technology come together. Known as Singapore’s first trilingual preschool, here, curiosity is encouraged while confidence grows naturally.  What’s more, children pick up future-ready skills simply by doing what they do best—exploring, playing and discovering the world around them.

FEATURES

ChildFirst, which has been applauded for its innovative approach and recognised by multiple awards as well as international media, has developed a unique curriculum designed to help children thrive in a rapidly changing world. Its goal? To equip the next generation with the skills and mindset needed for the future.

A Truly Trilingual Education: English, Chinese and Coding

At ChildFirst, they believe that children learn best through daily immersion. That’s why little ones are surrounded by English, Chinese and Coding every single day.

Recognised as three of the most important languages of the future, these pillars form the foundation of ChildFirst’s distinctive learning approach.

Children benefit from:

  • Half-day English immersion daily
  • Half-day Chinese immersion daily
  • Coding thoughtfully integrated into everyday learning

Within this environment, children develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness and logical thinking abilities, preparing them for life beyond the classroom.

Preparing Each Child for a World of Infinite Possibilities

English and Chinese

At ChildFirst, English lessons consist of more than just basic reading and writing.

Children develop strong literacy skills through a wide range of engaging activities such as:

  • Phonics and reading programmes
  • Storytelling and role-play
  • Show-and-tell and public speaking
  • Creative writing and journaling

Students will also participate in the Literature Alive programme, which gives them the opportunity to be exposed to classic stories, poetry and expressive language. This encourages imagination, instils confidence and a love of reading.

Chinese, on the other hand, is taught very differently. Children are introduced to the language using a research-based method called Chinese Rapid Word Recognition (CRWR), along with rhymes, stories and animations, helping them learn characters faster and making the language more enjoyable. Parents will be glad to know that they can support their child’s learning at home with the help of an in-house-developed AI-driven Chinese learning app. With all these in place, children move on to primary school with knowing up to 50% of the vocabulary used in Primary One.

Coding

It is without a doubt that technology and AI are rapidly changing the landscape of the world our children are growing up in. And this is why, at ChildFirst, coding is introduced early in a fun, engaging and age-appropriate way.

Children learn coding concepts through:

  • Play-based activities
  • Hands-on robotics
  • Animation and game creation
  • Simple programming challenges

Along the way, children will naturally build important skills such as logic, sequencing, problem-solving, and creativity. By exploring generative AI tools, they’ll also learn to create stories, artwork and projects—discovering how technology can fuel their imagination.

A Curriculum Built for Tomorrow

At the heart of ChildFirst’s award-winning iUnique Curriculum is a balanced approach that nurtures both future-ready skills and the human qualities that matter most.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Children gain exposure to technology and digital thinking from a young age.

Human Intelligence (HI)
Little ones will hone creativity, communication, empathy and collaboration—skills that technology cannot replace.

Multiple Intelligences (MI)
The curriculum recognises that every child learns differently, and helps children discover their strengths, building confidence along the way.

REVIEWS

“Seeing her growth in learning both English and Mandarin have shown us how effective the school’s bilingual policy is. Another highlight of her learning journey at ChildFirst Pre-school would be the coding programme. She looks forward to her coding lessons every week and has learnt to think logically, solve problems creatively, and collaborate with her classmates.”

– Mr Cheng, Parent of Chloe

“The tri-language program is phenomenal. The AI-driven Chinese app is cutting-edge, identifying areas for improvement and reinforcing learning through repeated practice. It’s well-preparing my son for primary school. Coding was introduced in N2 (age 4), and it laid the foundation for his interest in robotics. The phonics programme is also excellent—my son blends sounds fluently, and we’ve never felt the need to send him to any additional academic enrichment classes.

Beyond academics, ChildFirst places great emphasis on character building. My son has grown emotionally resilient and can manage his emotions much better now. The teachers are patient, caring, and truly invested in the children’s growth.”
