Scoot to launch Singapore-Dalian services in October

Extending its Mainland China network to seven cities.

Starting 30 October, Scoot will be launching two-times-weekly flights between Singapore and Dalian.

According to the airline’s media release, the services will be routed through Qingdao, replacing the existing two-times-weekly Singapore-Qingdao-Shenyang services. Meanwhile, Scoot’s services between Singapore and Shenyang will then go non-stop three times a week.

“With Dalian, our network in Mainland China will extend to seven cities, making up almost a third of our network,” commented Scoot’s Chief Commercial Officer Mr Leslie Thng.

Currently, Scoot’s network stands at 21 destinations across 10 countries/territories. Scoot will commence Sapporo, Jaipur and Dalian services in October.

“To commemorate the launch of Dalian flights and Shenyang services going non-stop, Scoot is offering promotional launch fares from now till 2359hrs on Monday, 25 July 2016. One-way Economy FLY fares (including taxes) are $108 for Dalian and $138 for Shenyang; ScootBiz at $208 and $238 respectively,” Scoot reveals.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
