Crayon Software Experts bags two accolades at Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards

Combining technology with the human desire for the greater good, Crayon successfully elevated and modernised legacy systems to meet business needs of today’s workforce.

Crayon Software Experts (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been announced as the winner of two key categories in the Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards 2022: AI – Technology and Analytics and Healthcare Technology. The Malaysia Technology Excellence Awards is an awards programme that lauds outstanding and notable companies in Malaysia that made exceptional contributions in the pursuit of technological innovation.

“It is fantastic when Crayon is recognised for the effort invested in driving businesses forward with best-in-class practices and innovation, and we are honoured to receive these prestigious awards from Malaysia TEA,” says Harith Ramotheram, CEO of Crayon Malaysia and Indonesia.

Crayon is a customer-first and vendor-agnostic technology practice that helps customers be agile and dynamic in their digital journey. Crayon offers Services iQ, where customers can choose from services best fit the requirements, whether those requirements relate to features, cost optimisation, performance, integrity, or availability of services.

“Every organisation has a specific vision on their cloud journey and that need evolves. It is key for customers to understand their organisation maturity prior to deploying the cloud strategy, be it assessing cloud readiness or navigating their infrastructure from ensuring compliance requirements met to selecting the most appropriate cloud services and designing the target architecture,” Harith added.

Through data-driven analytics and comprehensive assessment reports, Crayon’s priority is making sure customers always have access to the skills that they need to get the most out of their cloud investments. Similarly, organisations can expect to reduce cloud consumption costs by an average of 30%, by identifying and recommending services that minimise mislicensing and overspending.

Crayon's “Computer Vision Model” is an example where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to obtain high-level understanding from digital images and videos. Crayon developed a model that is 95% accurate and decreases the drone image processing time to one hour per operational site. The model will increase measurement consistency across all operation sites by as much as 30%.

Together with certified local and global expertise, Crayon offers customisable AI and Machine Learning solutions and deploys deep AI consulting capabilities to create business value. Coupled with our AI Center of Excellence, it enables us to create benchmarks based on industry, analyse, compare, and advise the best practice and approach for the customers' needs.

Crayon has a unique solutions equation that emphasises people, process and technology. That is why Crayon plays an important role in enabling our customers in embarking their technology journey.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
