It secured a letter of intent for a contract from Air Canada.

ST Aerospace secured a letter of intent for a contract from Air Canada to perform interior reconfiguration on part of the airline’s A330-300 fleet. According to an announcement, the new cabin interiors for Air Canada’s A330-300 fleet will be harmonised with its Boeing 787 aircraft.

The company declined to disclose financial details.

The first A330-300 will be inducted at ST Aerospace’s Paya Lebar facility in Singapore. ST Aerospace will carry out full turnkey solutions that include engineering and design development, cabin interior parts fabrication, kitting, certification, and aircraft installation as well as check tasks on top of interior reconfiguration. “This will be ST Aerospace's fourth interior reconfiguration project for Air Canada,” the company said.

Air Canada senior vice president for operations Rich Steer, said, “We have been pleased with the work performed by ST Aerospace and its US affiliate VT San Antonio Aerospace on Air Canada’s fleet. This contract assures Air Canada of a quality solution for our A330-300 interior reconfiguration and maintenance needs through ST Aerospace’s extensive and proven capabilities in this field.”

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
