Ailytics secures $9m for APAC, US and Gulf expansion

The funding round follows a $3.4m pre-Series A led by Tin Men Capital in 2024.

Ailytics, a Singapore vision artificial intelligence startup, has garnered $9.4m (US$7.4m) in a Series A round led by venture capital firm Tin Men Capital.

SG Growth Capital and Safie, Japan’s largest cloud camera company, participated in the series.

The round comes after a $3.4m (US$2.7m) pre-Series A held in April 2024, which the startup used to grow from 70 projects in four countries to more than 400 deployments in 15.

Ailytics said the investments will fund its expansion across Asia-Pacific, the US and the Gulf and into manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, maritime and mining.

Ailyssa, Ailytics’s proprietary platform, can derive three-dimensional spatial understanding from industrial CCTV feeds to provide real-time, actionable insights and help prevent workplace accidents.

The firm said it has detected more than 5.7 million hazards and monitored more than 500 million square metres (mil sq m) of active worksites across countries such as the US, Australia, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong.

Since its application, customers report a 73% reduction in total recordable incident rate and 84% fewer safety non-compliances, said Ailytics.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
