SIAEC’s net profit dips 1.2% YoY to $66.4m in FY22/23

Despite the decline, the company proposed a final dividend of $0.55.

Despite a reduction in wage support, SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) still recorded a lower net profit in FY22/23 at $66.4m.

To compare, the company recorded a $67.6m net profit in FY21/22.

Despite the dip in its net profit, the company proposed a final dividend of $.055 for FY22/23, marking the first since the onset of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the aircraft maintenance specialist also reported narrowing its operating losses on the back of progressively increasing business activities.

In FY22/23, flights handled by SIAEC reached about 65% of its pre-pandemic volume.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
