VTL applications between Singapore and Malaysia begins 22 November

Six daily services between Changi Airport and Kuala Lumpur will start on 29 November.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore announced that vaccinated travel pass applications for travel between Singapore and Malaysia will begin on 22 November 2021.

Six daily services between Changi Airport and Kuala Lumpur International Airport will be available, with AirAsia, Jetstar Asia, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Scoot, and Singapore Airlines in charge of these services.

Under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), fully vaccinated travellers from VTL countries may enter Singapore without quarantine and need to undergo COVID-19 testing. Children aged 12 years old and below who are not vaccinated will also be allowed to travel into Singapore, given that they are accompanied by a VTL traveller.

The same conditions from previous VTLs will also apply to Malaysia.

All VTL travellers must have remained in only one of the covered countries, with them also required to take two Covid-19 tests. One will be taken two days before departing for Singapore, while an on-arrival PCR test at Changi Airport will be required as well.

Travellers who are travelling to Singapore under the VTL must travel into Singapore on designated VTL flights.

Fully vaccinated Singapore citizens, permanent residents and children aged 12 and below do not need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass to enter Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
