Civmec seals $88.2m worth of contracts

They are for shutdown projects in various locations in Australia.

Since establishing its Maintenance and Refractory divisions, Singapore-listed construction and engineering services provider Civmec has seen great performance, with shutdown projects already equating to $31.2 million in just nine months.

It does not stop there for the said divisions, as Civmec is awarded several shutdown contracts amounting to $88.2 million.

The contracts includes calciner shutdown contract for works involving refractory, mechanical, scaffold and electrical services for Alcoa of Australia Limited as well as shutdown contract for works involving refractory and mechanical maintenance services.

More so, the group also nabbed ongoing maintenance services for shutdown work across Fortescue Metal Group.

It has also secured a contract to carry out modification works for BHP Billiton on Orebody 18 mine in the Pilbara area of Western Australia.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
