Temasek Financial prices $750m guaranteed notes due 2036

The bond was priced at par with a yield to maturity of 2.65% per annum.

Temasek Financial (I) Limited (TFin-I) has priced $750m of 10-year guaranteed notes due in 2036 (T2036-S$ Temasek Bond).

The notes were priced at par with a yield to maturity of 2.65% per annum, with interest paid every six months, the company said in a bourse filing.

The T2036-S$ Temasek Bond will be issued under TFin-I’s $38.5b (US$30b) Guaranteed Global Medium Term Note Programme. Temasek Holdings unconditionally and irrevocably guarantees the notes.

The offering is scheduled to close on 11 August, with the notes expected to be listed on the Singapore Exchange on 12 August.

TFin-I plans to provide the net proceeds to Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.

The notes were rated “Aaa” by Moody’s Investors Service and “AAA” by S&P Global Ratings, matching Temasek’s overall corporate credit ratings.

They were offered outside the US only to non-US persons under Regulation S of the US Securities Act.

DBS, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank, and United Overseas Bank acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
