SGX lists four ETFs tracking US and developed-market equities
Units can transfer across participating European exchanges under the ICSD model.
Singapore Exchange (SGX) has listed four Xtrackers UCITS exchange-traded funds (ETFs), giving investors access to major US and developed-market equity benchmarks.
The ETFs are eligible under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme, allowing investors to incorporate global equity exposure into their portfolios through the local market, SGX said.
They provide exposure to large-cap US stocks, an equal-weighted portfolio of US large-cap companies, Nasdaq-listed non-financial companies, and equities across developed markets.
The ETFs are listed under SGX’s International Central Securities Depository model, which allows units to be transferred across participating European exchanges.
Following the addition of the four funds, SGX offers 59 ETFs with combined assets under management of approximately $21b.
The total expense ratio represents the annual cost of managing and operating an ETF, expressed as a percentage of the fund’s assets, SGX said.
