Frencken Group's PATMI up 9.1% to $29.8m in 9M

Revenue from its semiconductor, medical segments drove this increase.

Frencken Group Limited registered a $29.8m profit after tax and minority interests (PATMI) in the first nine months of 2025 (9M2025), an increase of 9.1% year on year.

The firm cited higher revenue from its semiconductor and medical segments for the increase, it said in its financial statements.

In Q32025, meanwhile, Frencken’s semiconductor segment revenue increased 8.1% YoY to $99.1m, driven mainly by higher sales from its Asia operations that saw a broader product portfolio and a recovery in demand in the semiconductor equipment sector.

Its medical segment’s revenue improved 6.2% in Q3 to $31.7m due mainly to increased customer orders in Asia.

Frencken’s industrial automation segment’s revenue increased 51.1% YoY to $13.5m in Q3, driven by increased orders from its key customer in data storage solutions.

Its analytical life sciences segment’s revenue declined 8.3% YoY to $41m in Q3, attributed to lower customer demand in Europe.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
