Singapore amongst top Asian cities for remote work

It offers full 5G coverage and efficient public transport.

Singapore has been ranked amongst Asia’s top cities for remote work in the latest Work from Anywhere Barometer by International Workplace Group (IWG).

The report highlights Singapore’s strong performance in broadband speed, food, sustainability, culture, and happiness. Its full 5G coverage and efficient public transport make it easy for professionals to stay productive whether they’re in the suburbs or the Central Business District.

Singapore’s “City in Nature” approach adds green spaces like rooftop gardens and parks to the urban landscape, offering a balance between work and well-being.

Often ranked as Asia’s happiest country, Singapore blends historical landmarks with modern architecture and hosts cultural festivals year-round. Its food scene includes everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to popular hawker stalls.

The city also hosts major global events like the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and concerts such as Lady Gaga’s The Mayhem Ball, reinforcing its status as a business and leisure destination.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
