As at the end of Q3, 59,378 HDB flats were rented out, edging up 0.9% from 58,855 in the previous quarter.
HDB said it had observed no significant increase in resale prices or purchases by private residential property owners and former owners since the 15-month wait-out period was removed on 28 July 2026.
It will launch about 7,960 flats in Bedok, Geylang, Sembawang, Tengah, Toa Payoh, and Yishun in November, including Community Care Apartments in Toa Payoh.
“The macroeconomic outlook remains highly uncertain, including for global and domestic interest rates,” HDB said. “Households are advised to exercise prudence when purchasing property and taking out mortgage loans.”
