SGX lists CSOP CSI A500 ETF; management fee set at 0.89%

CSOP says the feeder ETF invests at least 90% of its NAV into the China Southern CSI A500 ETF.

SGX has welcomed the listing of the CSOP CSAM CSI A500 Index ETF, giving investors in Singapore another channel to access China’s A-share market through a broad-based benchmark.

The ETF, which trades on SGX under the code SUN, tracks the CSI A500 Index, comprising 500 of China’s largest and most liquid A-share companies.

SGX said more than 50% of the index is weighted towards innovation-driven sectors such as technology, hardware, and advanced manufacturing. The listing marks the 11th ETF under the China–Singapore ETF Link and the sixth under the Shenzhen Stock Exchange–SGX ETF Link.

CSOP said the fund is Singapore’s first CSI A500 Index ETF and is listed at $1 per share with a minimum lot size of one share.

It carries an annual management fee of 0.89% and is structured as a feeder ETF, investing at least 90% of its net asset value in the China Southern CSI A500 ETF through Qualified Foreign Investor status and other permitted channels.

According to CSOP, the underlying China-listed fund, which debuted in 2024, had assets under management of approximately RMB 47.1b as of 08 Jan., ranking second globally among similar products and the largest of its kind on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

CSOP also stated that the CSI A500 Index returned 22.43% in 2025.

SGX said the new listing expands its ETF range to 51 products with combined assets under management exceeding $18b. It added that ETF assets on SGX rose 37% YoY in 2025, whilst average daily turnover increased 69%.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
