Attention passengers! Waiting time for Grab rides up to 3 minutes only

Customers will pay $3 per five-minute waiting block.

Grab revised its grace waiting time from five minutes to three minutes for some of its ride-sharing services, which will take effect on 18 July 2022.

Posted on its official website, grace waiting time for JustGrab, GrabPet, GrabFamily, GrabCar, GrabCar Plus, and GrabShare will be up to three minutes and passengers will be charged $3 for every 5-minute waiting block.

For GrabCar Premium, the driver will charge $5 per five-minute waiting block if the passenger goes beyond the three-minute grace period.

Those who will book GrabCoach are entitled to a 10-minute grace period and beyond that, they will pay $10 per 10-minute waiting block.

"You will be automatically charged for the waiting fee if you have exceeded the grace period for waiting time," said Grab.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
