DHL unit to build healthcare cold chain hub at Changi Nexus One

The 3,047 sq.m facility will open by end-2027 with direct airside access.

DHL Global Forwarding Singapore will establish a dedicated healthcare logistics facility at Changi Nexus One in the Changi Airfreight Centre by the end of 2027.

The DHL Singapore Coldchain Hub will span 3,047 sq.m and will handle healthcare shipments requiring temperatures of 2°C–8°C and 15°C–25°C, Changi Airport Group and DHL Group said.

The facility will feature Good Distribution Practice-qualified cold rooms, direct airside access, and real-time temperature monitoring.

It will add to Changi Airport’s existing temperature-controlled infrastructure, which includes more than 9,000 sq.m of airside-fronting handling capacity.

That existing capacity can handle more than 375,000 tonnes annually and is supported by airside thermal protection solutions such as cool dollies.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
