SIA, Scoot carry 3.5 million passengers as of November

The group’s cargo carriage also increased by 12.4% compared to the last year.

The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group and its Scoot subsidiary carried a combined total of 3.5 million passengers as of November 2025, or 6.0% more than last year, the firm said in its operating results.

The group’s passenger load factor (PLF) came in at 87.3%, 0.3 percentage points higher than a year ago, it added.  SIA and Scoot posted monthly PLFs of 86.4% and 90.7%, respectively.

The group’s passenger traffic grew 2.6% year on year last November, outpacing the 2.2% average increase in passenger capacity.

Its cargo carriage increased by 12.4% compared to the last year, supported by the year-end peak demand and higher contribution from freighter aircraft during the month, the airliner said.

Cargo loads grew by 8.1%, outpacing the expansion in cargo capacity of 1.6%. Cargo load factor came in at 60.2%, 3.6 percentage points higher than a year ago, it added.

During the month, Scoot launched passenger services to Nha Trang in Vietnam, whilst SIA resumed seasonal services to Sapporo (Chitose) in Japan.

At the end of November 2025, the group’s passenger network covered 131 destinations in 37 countries and territories. SIA served 79 destinations and Scoot 76 destinations.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
