ST Engineering invests in Israel-based cybersecurity firm

Their cross-platform will provide a consolidated overview and analysis of cyber events for rail operators.

ST Engineering invested in cybersecurity firm Radiflow, an announcement revealed. Following this, the firms will partner to address cybersecurity risks and to battle against focused attacks hitting critical information infrastructure.

Through the deal, the Israel-based Radiflow will allow ST Engineering to access their detection and prevention tools. The two will merge ST Engineering Electronic’s Command, Control, and Communications (C3) and Radiflow’s rail supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

“The combining of these two technologies has resulted in the development of the region’s first end-to-end cybersecurity solution for the rail transport industry,” the firms said in a joint statement.

The cross-platform is expected to allow global rail operators to have a consolidated overview and analysis of cyber events and a stronger way to differentiate between genuine Industrial Control Systems (ICS) failure and cyber attacks.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
